About this event

The Sunday Welcome Ride starts in the parking lot at the TREK Bicycle Store in Ft. Myers (8291 Dani Drive, SE corner of Colonial and Six Mile Cypress). Be ready to ride at 7:30am.

Getting Started

Riders should be able to maintain 14-16 mph for an hour and a half no matter what style of bike they may ride. Riders should have also ridden the Minions Rides where basic
group riding techniques are taught. We ride mostly on the path system surrounding the shop and vary the route each week - sometimes to Lakes Park, John Yarbrough Linear Park, Gateway, and the old Airport, to name a few destinations - and the distances will usually be around 25 miles. On the first Sunday of each month we ride to Page Field and attend the Experimental Aircraft Association's (EAA) Pancake Breakfast ($10 each) - always a great time!  This is a “NO DROP” rideso we'll make sure you get back to the shop!

Helmets are required!  Daytime riding lights are recommended! Contact Steve Rodgers at 239-839-7926 (and leave a message!) or the TREK store at 239-931-6690 for additional info and watch for postings and weather updates on Facebook at CRBC Ride Group.
