June is Pride Month!
Let's celebrate inclusion and acceptance of everyone with our 1st Annual CRBC Pride Ride! Wear your most colorful jersey and join us on a 40ish mile route from Bike Bistro across the causeway to Sanibel and Captiva (which is hosting it's first Captiva Pride Friday-Sunday). Half way stop is the coffee/convince store on Captiva.
Donations of any amount to support the LGBT+ community can be made directly to Equality Florida or locally thru Cape Coral Pride thru the following links or cash and check donations can be given to Lee Waller at the ride. 100% of the donations collected will be split with half given to Equality Florida and the other half going to Cape Coral Pride. Feel free to bring a beach chair and grab a coffee from Bike Bistro or a snack at Publix after the ride for a little social gathering with your cycling friends.
Speed Groups and Ride Leaders:
Open Group - 22+ mph: Lee Waller and Ariel Marquez
A Group - 20-22 mph: Pam Allen
B Group - 18-20 mph: Tony Mack
C Group - 16-18 mph: Steve Rodgers
D Group - 14-16 mph: Sam Jones
*Sam's D Group will have two start options: One group will start at 7:30 am from Bike Bistro and ride across the causeway and then will pick up a second D group (for those wanting a shorter ride and/or not interested in riding the causeway) meeting in the Chamber of Causeway parking lot at approximately 8 am.
*Ariel Marquez will bring an Open Group from Cape Harbor leaving at 6:30 am to ride to Bike Bistro for a total of about 88 miles
No Drop Ride except for the Open Group
Distance: 49 Miles with Ding Darling loop optional (bring a dollar per person for bike access to Ding Darling)
