Silly Santa Gift Exchange
After dinner, let's have some fun with a Silly Santa game for anyone that wants to participate. Completely optional - but it's always a lot of fun! Here's how it works:
Participants bring an anonymous wrapped gift valued at about $15-$25. No name tags! These will be placed together on a table at the party.
To start, everyone that brought a gift draws a number. #1 starts the game by choosing a gift from the table and unwrapping it. The person who drew #2 goes next and has the option to either steal #1's gift or pick a different gift from the table. If #1's gift is stolen, he or she goes back to the table to select another gift to unwrap. This continues with each person having the chance to steal or choose a wrapped gift.
Rules: A gift can be stolen no more than three times. A gift can also only be stolen once per turn. If your gift is stolen, you can't steal it right back. You can steal another gift or choose from the pile. When all the gifts have been opened, the person who drew #1 has the option to keep their gift and end the game or steal/trade their gift with someone, continuing the game until someone decides to keep their gift.
