Event Calendar - Event View

This ride has two speed groups and rides in northern Cape Coral. The usual route is a 40 mile route utilizing Cape Coral's quiet northern roads but be prepared for that typical Cape wind! This is a 2 hour ride with no stops.

Speed: A Group 20-24mph, plus sprint zones, Drop Ride. This group rides at a fast pace that varies depending on the winds. If you are not a strong cyclist, it may be difficult to keep up. Drop Ride means that if you can't maintain the pace, you will be dropped from the group and will have to find your own way back.

Speed: B Plus Group 19-21mph, No Drop Ride (seasonal when needed).
This group rides at a relatively fast pace that varies depending on the winds. If you are not a strong cyclist, it may be difficult to keep up. This is a no drop ride, however, riders are expected to maintain the group pace. If a rider can't maintain pace, an effort will be made to ensure that no one gets left behind.
Distance is 40 miles, no stops.

If you are considering participating in the Gator Trails group ride, it is important to be honest with yourself about your abilities. If you are not sure that you can maintain the pace, it is best to choose a slower group ride.
