The Welcome Ride starts most Sundays at 7:30am from the parking lot in front of the TREK store at 8291 Dani Drive (SE corner of Six Mile Cypress and Colonial Blvd).

We’ll usually conduct 2 loops; the first will be from 15 to 20 miles on the pathways near the shop including the John Yarbrough Linear Park. Routes will vary from week to week as we sometimes head to Lakes Park, Gateway, JetBlue Park, or loop through the old airport.

This first loop is open to all experience levels and all types of bikes from hybrids to fitness and road bikes.  Pace will be 13 to 15 mph and this is a “no drop”, no rider left behind ride.

After returning to the TREK store, new and experienced road cyclists will regroup to head out on a second loop; routes vary and will range from 1
5 to 20 more miles. The pace will increase to 16 to 18 mph and pace line etiquette/riding style will be practiced as we ride on the bike lanes and paved shoulders in the Treeline Corridor. The main purpose for this loop is to introduce new road riders to group riding; however, if there are sufficient ride leaders present a faster paced group could break away from the main group.

Contact Steve Rodgers at the TREK store, 239-931-6690, or at Srodgers@trekbikestoreusa.com for more information or up-to-the-minute ride details.
